I was born and raised in Hilton Head Island, SC but I have been living in the New York area for the last 10 years. In 1991, I graduated from Villanova University and I received my MBA from Columbia University in 1998.  For the past 3 years I have been an equity sales trader Alliance Bernstein in midtown Manhattan. As a child I was very active in the local Episcopal Church including serving as an acolyte until I left for college. My wife Janna and I visited Epiphany along with a number of other Episcopal churches when we moved to the neighborhood. There was no comparison. Epiphany members welcomed us from our very first visit and we love that the church is filled with so many children as we now have two children, PJ and Ryan. Our children have given me reason to revisit my own faith and strengthened my dedication to raise PJ and Ryan with the same faith my parents instilled in me.

Raised in the Yorkville area, I graduated from the Brearley School, Barnard College and received my M.A. from New York University. I taught computer education and music at various schools, most recently at The Brearley School where I also set up an after-school program.  I was drawn to Epiphany because of its intimacy, simplicity and because I knew it had been established on York Avenue to provide spiritual support for patients and staff at the hospitals nearby. The lay chaplaincy has been a great joy to be a part of and I  feel that the spirit at Epiphany strengthens and guides me.

Chris came to Epiphany in 2005 with his wife Libby and son William at the invitation of Andrew Mullins whom he had known for many years from St. Bart’s church in midtown. His involvement at Epiphany has included working as an usher and participating in numerous parish events such as the annual Christmas Pageant and reading of the passion during the Lent season. Recently he has been helping the church staff upgrade the parish website and build out its social media presence.

Chris works at the Director of Client Services at Agent 16 - an independent ad agency in midtown. His previous professional positions have included working in senior management at large ad agencies G2, imc2 and DDB. He also worked as a VP / Marketing at MetLife. He graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, IA and holds a MBA in marketing from Miami of Ohio. As a native of the Chicago area he is a frustrated Cubs fan and eternal optimist.

I am the daughter of an electrical engineer and a public school music teacher, originally hailing from upstate New York. I have a B.A. In Musical Theatre from American University, and work as a writer and director here in NYC. I also spend my summers teaching and directing for The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts in downtown DC.  Having been baptized and raised in an Episcopal parish upstate, I was happy to find myself spoken to from the pulpit at Epiphany, where I wandered in one day, and have called her spiritual home base ever since. I was confirmed in June by Bishop Dietsche, participate in the Art and Spiritual Direction group, help out on the auction committee, and work extensively with the Wednesday dinner program.

I have been a member of the Church of the Epiphany since my move to New York City in 2001. Although I now live on the Upper West Side I happily commute with my family in order to be part of such an amazing church community. I have served on the Vestry since January 2008.

Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, MI, I moved to New York City for the first time in 1987 after graduating from the Stanford Business School in Palo Alto, CA. I've subsequently returned to New York after two stints abroad with General Motors in Switzerland and Germany. I now reside on the Upper East Side with my wife Christina and two sons, Kevin and Jamie, and am President and CEO of GM Asset Management. I was raised a Lutheran but started attending Episcopal services at an English-speaking church while living in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1995. My family and I sought an Episcopal church when we moved back to New York in 2003 and were blessed to find Epiphany in 2006 when Jamie began attending the Church of the Epiphany Day School. We were impressed with the warmth and friendliness we found in the clergy and congregation and have been extremely happy to see the number of families with children in the church grow in the years since our arrival. We feel blessed to be part of a wonderfully welcoming and vibrant community and have many good, new friends at Epiphany.

I have been a member of Epiphany since 2003, when I became the mentor for the EFM group.  Since then, I have worked on the Auction Dinner, the Flower Guild, led Bible Study Groups, and been a lay reader.  Following a career in healthcare, I studied for an MA in Biblical Studies at GTS and am a Pastoral Visitor.  I look forward to helping discern where the Spirit is calling the Church of Epiphany, a community which offers prayerful support to its members as well as active mission to the wider community.

I was a cradle Episcopalian and a member of Epiphany since 1995. I helped with the Wednesday Dinner Homeless Program in my early days at Epiphany. I was an usher and a member of the Parish Nurses. As an RN it is wonderful to see Epiphany's participation in the ministry to the patients at the adjacent hospitals.

I was born and raised on the island of Jamaica. I came to New York after receiving an academic scholarship to pursue a tertiary education. After completing my education which included an MBA from Baruch College (CUNY), I began my career within the Technology field, working for companies such as Deloitte & Touché, Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and the Royal Bank of Canada (my current employer). I am married to Novia and we have a son Chad. My decision to become an active member of the Church of Epiphany was a natural extension of the warmth and inclusiveness that my family felt during Chad’s baptism. I knew then, that the LORD had blessed us with a new community, rich with opportunities to contributeto HIS glory. I attribute my spiritual growth, personal success and love of family to the teachings instilled by my parents who encouraged me to “Always make GOD the center of my life, be humble, kind and respectful to others.”

I grew up in New York. I have a Masters Degree in Education from Teachers College. I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. I came to Epiphany about 7 or 8 years ago and was looking for a new church home. I felt Epiphany was most welcoming. I like the various community programs at the church especially the Carpenter’s Kids of Tanzania and the Wednesday Night Homeless Dinners, in which my daughter, Caroline, and I help out. I hope to continue to help Epiphany grow in new ways either by assisting in more outreach programs or welcoming new families to the church.

I researched and wrote several of the panels for Epiphany’s 175th anniversary. In addition to volunteering for the church, I currently head the Board of Grosvenor Neighborhood House YMCA and sit on several other non-profit boards. I have been on the Vestry since January 2008.

My daughter and I have been members of Epiphany since 2007. We were drawn to the church by the Children’s ministry, first through the Vacation Bible School and then the through the warm friendly welcome offered to us by members of the parish on Sunday mornings. My daughter, Charlotte, was prepared for confirmation by Priest-in-Charge, The Reverend Jennifer Linman and confirmed by Bishop Catherine S. Roskam on December 8, 2008.

I am a cradle Episcopalian. I grew up attending a small parish in Texas, participating in Sunday School and as a leader of the Youth Group. I have been baptized, confirmed and married in the church. I continue to be a part of the Episcopal Church because of its openness, compassion, constancy and tolerance all firmly grounded in the ministry of Jesus Christ. Currently I serve as a greeter on Sundays and holidays. My daughter is a member of Epiphany’s High School Youth Group. I am a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin with an undergraduate degree in business. After many years in the corporate world, marketing new products, I am now busy with my daughter’s education. I am humbled by this opportunity to serve my parish community.
