Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, MI, I moved to New York City for the first time in 1987 after graduating from the Stanford Business School in Palo Alto, CA.  I've subsequently returned to New York after two stints abroad with General Motors in Switzerland and Germany.  I now reside on the Upper East Side with my wife Christina and two sons, Kevin and Jamie, and am VP and Treasurer of General Motors Company.  The last few years there have really tested my perseverance and faith.  I was raised a Lutheran but started attending Episcopal services at an English-speaking church while living in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1995.  My family and I sought an Episcopal church when we moved back to New York in 2003 and were blessed to find Epiphany in 2006 when Jamie began attending the Church of the Epiphany Day School.  We were impressed with the warmth and friendliness we found in the clergy and congregation and have been extremely happy to see the number of families with children in the church grow in the years since our arrival.  We feel blessed to be part of a wonderfully welcoming and vibrant community and have many good, new friends at Epiphany.
