The Carpenter’s Kids

This is Epiphany’s newest outreach program.  We have committed to sponsoring the primary education of 50 AIDS orphans in the Diocese of Central Tanganyika in Tanzania for five years.  The cost for school supplies, uniform, shoes, and a daily breakfast is only $50 per year.  If you’d like to sponsor a child, contact the parish office at 212-737-2720. 

 

2008 Update:  This year we are gathering money for socks and soap for each Carpenter’s kid, a cow for the village, a secondary education fund, and the support of Scolastica Ngumbo, a young woman from Mlowa Barabarani who is attending a teacher’s college.  Please send donations made out to the Church of the Epiphany with “Carpenter’s Kids” in the memo line.
