Since its founding in 1833, The Church of the Epiphany has been home to many educational programs for children. In 2004, a commitment was made to begin a new early childhood program, The Church of the Epiphany Day School, an Episcopal school on Manhattan's Upper Eastside. The Day School community, which consists of families, faculty and staff who represent a diverse range of ethnicity, nationality, creed and socio-economic backgrounds, welcomes children two through five years of age.
The school is dedicated to promoting the emotional, social, cognitive and physical growth of each child. Our focus on the arts allows children to explore their own imaginations and the world around them in a collaborative learning environment, with an emphasis on socialization through play. This approach respects individuality and, at the same time, encourages participation, providing an optimal balance for every child.
