From the Interim Choirmaster & Organist: June Manifest 2022

THANK YOU, CHOIR!

Accolades to all who sang this spring. Sadly our season ended two weeks early because of going to a Zoom format (thanks to section leader Audrey for being cantor). It was especially wonderful to welcome back choir members to join the section leaders starting on Palm Sunday after a long hiatus.

CHOIR INVITATION FOR THE FALL

Calling all teens and adults who like to sing: come join the choir this fall! We welcome you if you’re brand new to the choir or a returning member! Epiphany has a wonderful choral tradition. Singing in the new building will be a thrill! So come, be a part of it.

The fall choir season starts Thursday, September 8 with rehearsal from 6:45-8:15 pm in the new choir room. Our first service with the choir will be Sunday, September 18.

Put the choir in your calendar. You’ll be welcomed warmly!

INVITATION TO SING FOR THE CONSECRATION SERVICE

Unable to sing on a regular basis with the choir? You’re welcome to join for the 351 Consecration Service now scheduled for Saturday morning October 8. The choir will be joined by Manhattan Brass for this historic occasion. Rehearsals for that service will be Thursday evenings, September 29 and October 6. Times TBA.

The choir is ordering new vestments this week to be ready for singing in the new church.
