Wednesday Homeless Dinner Program
Every Wednesday night, Epiphany’s Wednesday Homeless Dinner Program provides hospitality and a hot meal to more than 100 guests. It provides a place where people are treated with respect and dignity and are able to eat their fill. The food is prepared and served by our cook and a crew of volunteers from the parish and community. We never miss a Wednesday and no one goes hom hungry.
The funds for the Dinner Program come from the parish, generous grants from Episcopal Charities, the City of New York via Councilmember Ben Kallos, the United Way, and individual donations. Every year a large portion of the budget for the program is raised at our annual silent auction, Epiphany Under the Stars [link].
